Yup its actually really easy if you have a 99+ but 97-98 youre outta luck lol. Just sent my money for one. Paid the guy $45 for the handle, keypad, and wiring. Didnt seem like too bad of a price to me. Probably get it next week.
Got the door handle out and the new one in place... Turns out its a slightly different shade of blue. Dropped it off at the body shop to be ptm. They are slow so should be done by friday. At least I know how to put it in now lol and I can probably fix my passenger side lock that the thiefs jacked up.
Got it installed today and it works like a dream. Just had to extend the wiring about 18" which took like 30 minutes haha 8 wires for the plug. Also took my passenger side off to inspect the damage the thieves did. Turns out ill need another handle and lock. A new lock means a new key. May not even be worth it since my drivers side works fine.
A local locksmith can rekey one to match. Just get one from a junk yard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
