Wheel spacers

    2001 xlt expedition 4x4. Looking to get wheels a little more flush with fender what pattern and size wheel spacers

    why not purchase new rims with a different offset?

    I think wheel spacers just scream trouble lol

    just another thing that can break and its in such a critical spot. bolting the spacer to the hub and the spacer to the wheel.

    ^x2, either get a wider wheel or a wheel with a high negative offset. or both of those options

    I've seen people run spacers without issues till one day the lugs sheared and the wheel fell off going down the road. Messed up the fender and the rotor if not more. New rims are more expensive but they're safer and less risky.

    Ran 1.75" spacers on a 7,500 lb truck
    Didnt really like it but I never had problems
    If you wheels are hubcentric make sure you get hubcentric spacers, (or lug centric get lug centric spacers)
