im going to have to see this.

I also noticed that at the very front of both rocker panels where the rocker goes behind the front fender, rust has taken over and eaten a hole. not too worried since its way up front where no one can see and it is just the rocker.

    Alright guys here's the hole.

I don't have a clue what to do. I can try using this putty I have and painting over it or I can get a piece of sheet metal and do my best to weld it in place.

    sorry picture is sideways.

I still can't figure out where its at? I'm know expert in rust repair, but sheet metal gets my vote.

Looks like its too big to use any sort of adhesive putty stuff.

I think your only choice is to clean the inside really well and grind all the rust off and then weld in the sheet metal. Grind welds down, sand, paint. Done.

yea I think that's what im going to have to do.

when I repaired that rocker I didn't go back all the way since the metal was still solid, guess it wasn't as solid as I thought.

I have the other half of the new rocker panel that I cut off but I don't have the time or space right now to take my bed topper off and the bed to get to that corner.

sheet metal will have to do. im just worried the metal is too thin right there and thall itll burn right through. cant exactly get my grinder in there cause its so tight.

What about a dremel with grinder attachment? A little slimmer than a big grinder.

    That would work.

Don't have a dremmel yet though, was just talking to a guy at work about buying one. I think my uncle has one I can borrow.

Just set my gap guards up. I have the holes drilled but I need some plastic push pins to mount them.
