Hello kids! I have a question about what my truck is doing. It's a 1999 F-250 super duty, 5.4, 5 speed 4x4. It will have a misfire randomly, most noticeable under load, going up hill, lugging it around, etc. I put new plugs in it figuring that would cure it, nope. It not consistent enough to throw a code so I could plug it in to find out. I've also done fuel n air filters, I'm running Lucas fuel injector cleaner in it as well, should I have replaced the coil boots n wires when I did the plugs? Thank you in advance for any help.

I thought of that as well, I just don't want to chase it. I will just wait until it's bad enough to get a code. Thank you guys!
