haha well ive always had a ford truck...but there too high priced to work on ... and chevys are just so much more compatible with each other.. so when i started mud racing... ford...dodge...all that other stuff is out of the question...

i can start a chevy engine on the ground with a dist..starter..battery and gas....... a ford you have all the ignition modules.. and boxes and doodads...

With that being sad... they do make HEI dist for fords and chryslers now...

Sorry but that's a load off bull crap....I've worked on them both (older fords and Chevys) and one is no harder than the next. New Chevys are just as complicated as new Fords. :Wedgie:

there not harder... just more to go wrong...

chevys are cheaper and more compatible...you can take start off small block and put it on a big block

4.3 v6 through all the big blocks... engine swap is a cake job.....nothing needed... same motor mounts... some trans....12 volts to start...12 volts to coil...
