Head numba 2 is on. Lash adjusters in. Just went to pick up some assembly lube so ill be putting the cams in next and setting the timing. MMR failed to send me 2 primary tensioners so ill have to call them on monday to see if theyll send me 2 more.
Well oreillys has a generic kind thats in a black tube with white lettering called "engine assembly lube" so I went with that haha
Haha yup its getting closer dylan. I think ill have it finished up in the next month or so. Depends on how long parts take to come in. Also need to get some cam bolts since my stock ones are TTY and I had no idea. 20 bucks a pop for ARP is ridiculous and I need 4! Once this things finished up I may have to burn a few sick days to get time to swap it in since my vacation days are alreay used.
Got the cams in and cam caps on. Summit shipped fast so my cam bolts came in and they fit just like I thought. Also got secondary chains on but figured out I need to align the chains by the dots on the gear not the keyway. Ill have to pull em off and realign them before putting on the primary chains. Still waiting on my primary tensioners from mmr. After that its just timing cover, valve covers, front pulleys, and intake. Still need headers though :/
Got the rocker arms in... just waiting on timing cover bolts to show up in the mail. Then ill put all the covers on and itll look done haha
