Well honestly I wasnt a fan at all when they came out.. theyre kind of growing on me though.. but if I went and got a new mustang today id still go with a coyote s197.. once more people get ahold of the s550s and mod them i think i might like them a little better than seeing them on a lot
I've noticed alot of people warming up to them. Especially in person. The lines don't capture well in photos. Thanks! Do you have a pic of the 84?
Update Still waiting on my Mustang...grr I had to sell my Challenger due to it just losing value by the minute so I've been DD the Bronco. Looks like the original owner replaced the exhaust with that "bend it yourself" stuff and....it definitely rotted out and a 3 foot section fell off lol so I'll be replacing it soon with I believe the Gibson cat back system. The back window will no longer go down so I believe I need to pop the panel and try to reset the motor. My driver side door handle completely broke off from inside the door... After removing the panel it looks like a poor designed system which clamps to the door sheet metal had just ripped its self off. So after disassembling and in my eyes properly mounting the handle to hold a larger surface area all seems to be better. Some positive news. The engine runs like a dream. Shockingly driving my normal route to work and the minor off day driving I just averaged 17.7mpg from a tank....not to bad for a 94 5.0 with 33s and a 3.45 rear. I'm very pleased in general though I actually had a guy follow me to my local grocery store and ask me about the Bronco. He said it was beautiful and glad it was still on the road. I love my Bronco and the problems are actually enjoyable.
Heck yea man. Love me a bronco and glad you are getting some good use out of it. I had a 87 f150 with a 5.0 and i loved that truck never should have sold it. 6" lift and 35's. Thing ran like a raped ape.
Forgot to add I did the "zip tie" mod for the gas pedal and what a difference. Before if I put the pedal down I would bury it in the carpet and WOT was hit or miss. Now the pedal is extremely firm and responsive. Also that guy also asked if he could take a picture of the Bronco...lol no one asked to take pictures of my Challenger, ever.
