Looks like Nittos unless ya find a China tire. What about going down one notch in size? tried the link to Tire Rack Dura Trac 275 70R 18 @ $251 but it keeps giving the 235 80 17 link.
That sucks that only the nittos are the size you need. Really narrows down the search. Here what I'm looking at.
Toyo has a 285-75 R18. 34.8x11.2 Toyo Tires Part 352780 - LT285/75R18, Open Country A/T II - 4 Wheel Parts It also comes in a 295-70 R18 34.3x11.6 But that and Nitto are about it. Unless you want to run the MT-R Edit: Cooper makes a 305/70 R18 34.8x12 http://www.1010tires.com/Tires/305-70R18
Discount told me the only two sizes they will mount are the two I listed because of the rim width. I'm thinking i might suck it up and throw some new rims on. I would go down to a 17" rim because there's a bigger tire choice. Going to be like $2k. Need to get the roof on the house first. I do like a taller/skinnier tire. Think it'll look better.
I like the coopers. I really want to talk to my girlfriends uncle. One of his best buddies is the president of cooper tires, maybe I can get a discount.
the wheel is too narrow? I have 35x12.50 on 17x7.5s. I had a jeep buddy who currently has 37s on 7" wide wheels...so unless your wheel is <7" wide.....
Just take them somewhere else to get put on. I took my new wheels to discount tire and they wouldn't even mount them because they were used. Had to take it to an independent shop.
×2 take it to someone who wants your money. Lots of Jeep guys run 12.5 tires on 7.5 wide rims harder Then you will
