They're telling me this is something new they started like 6 months ago. Firestone won't do it either. The manufacturers are telling them not to mount certain tires on certain wheels because of stressing on the sidewalls and uneven wear. The problem with taking the truck to a ma and pa shop is, no lifetime rotation or balancing and the shops around here, i dont know if i would trust the people lol They told me they can order the tires they just can't mount them.
Dang, that sucks. I've always mounted my own then had them balanced by someone else. Rotate with the oil changes and call it good.
I don't want to have to pay for rotation and balancing. I usually get them balanced every time I have them rotated. this is probably just giving me an excuse to get new rims. open to suggestions lol nothing with big gaudy stars on em lol dont want anything 100% black either.
Same. And I call BS about the wear. My duratracs wore fine and they were on my stock fx4 wheels for a long time. I suggest trying to work out a deal with the independent shop for free lifetime and balance or maybe ask discount if they have a price for lifetime balance and rotation. That way You pay the cost upfront and they just have to rotate them For you. On second thought, I bought my Duratracs from a Goodyear shop and they had no problem mounting them and giving me free lifetime rotation. Just call around or maybe try an off road ish style shop, they should be able to hook you up with a larger size tires.

Go submit a request to mr wheel deal. theyll take all your info and send you a list. Ive done that several times but never saw anything that really caught my eye. check summit or jegs or 4wheelparts...
rims im looking for are anything but chrome and aluminum and I don't want anything 100% black. would also like something with out any big ass skulls are stars or any other symbols. ill try that Jarrett.
