To be honest, I find myself stepping over them when I get in the truck. My girlfriend and I are both tall so I could take them off but I haven't really thought about it. I do want to coat the rocker panels with some por15 and bedliner to protect against rust. Will probably take the steps off to do that so well get to see what it looks like without them.

I'm 6' 2 and I thought I didn't really need steps on my truck as it wasn't lifted and I could get in and out fine. My wife and kids were having that problem so I decided to get the amp research hideaways and thought I'd never use them. I do alot now and glad I have them on. They go alot lower then the steps you have on when they come down.

one of the first things I noticed with these newer trucks is that the steps are up way too high, I always end up hitting my foot on the rocker panel when I actually use the step lol

I do like the hideaway steps but I may just get some black powder-coated steps down the road.

I never wanted steps on my truck, and still don't need them, but noticed my seat wearing out faster with my level and 33s from sliding in and out more

im also interest in some helper springs for the truck. im going to be hauling a lot of dirt and stone to the house.

I see tuff country makes some but im looking to see how much it increases payload.

No to all those tailights imo. just get some fx tails like me! it'll look great on that red. And firestone makes a great set of helper bags.

    I like the Anzo ones.

I went with a Rough Country AAL for $100 and they said it would add about 900lbs payload.
