I found out why. the speed sensor that plugs into the hub for the ABS or whatever wasn't set in the brackets right. so the wire was rubbing on my rotor.. Guess the shop wasn't paying attention when they bolted the plug back in. i got it out of the way and drove around a bit and the light didn't come back on so hopefully that fixed it. Gonna be kinda pissed if it's ruined because it's a $100 sensor..

I would call the shop right away, leave it the way it was and send them pictures. They should have to pay for the sensor.

Take it back to the shop and make them buy you a new one regardless, it could wear out eventually and even if it still works it wasn't like that before you drove it in their shop.

It'll put their customer service to the test.

Woo! flushmounts came in, already opened them up and painted the faces black just like my front cubes. Just waiting on the pueblo gold to get here to paint the mounting plates :peace:

Is your rear bumper chrome or Ptm?

Either way it'll look good with that Ptm gold.

....they are going in the rear bumper right? Where you gonna mount the switch? Or wire them to reverse lights?

bumpers are ptm. yep going in the rear bumper. i can hardly wait to cut up this beautiful truck. Just gonna wire them into the reverse lights. I really don't need them hooked up to a switch, factory reverse lights are garbage and i can barely back into my driveway at night. Jesse told me that apparently the reverse light bulbs don't draw enough power to run the bulbs plus leds so i'll have to splice into the trailer plug. Worked fine on the 04, 12 gens just really don't like aftermarket lighting  Still got hyperflash from my switchbacks but by now i'm used to it.

Change of plans, hooking them up to a switch. Lol. Don't really wana splice through wires on this truck.

LEDs are mounted, just wiring them up now.

You would have to splice into the trailer harness, not the reverse lights harness, anyway. Can't tap reverse lights on those trucks or nothing will work.

The 500 mAh draw of a relay trigger will
    mess up the reverse circuitry?
