Overhead console help

    Does anyone know if theres any fuses for the overhead console (2002 XLT) and if there are what are they called. Any help is appreciated.

    YES, there is. I think it is fuse 6. should be a 5 amp fuse.

    Thanks Thomas but that didn't do it the fuse was fine, all of them were, anybody get any other ideas as to why it wouldn't be working.

    I bet the display has gone out. Pull the console down and test the harness. White w/ blue stripe is power and black its ground.

    I have the diagram for the OHC if you need it. Well, I have 92 pages of wiring diagrams just for a 02 f150...lol

    yeah more than likely just the display has went out. like thomas said test for power going to the console

    No I haven't gotten to it yet its fwonkin cold here even in the shop with the heater on lol, I was there yesterday but had something more exciting to do. Pics are in the 97-03 thread. Maybe this weekend if it warms up some but we'll see. Thanks for the link man

    Went out and did the overhead console as per the link write-up and it now works! I used a jewelers headset (cause i'm over 50 with sight challenges LOL) and seen a couple of broken solder joints on the same square resistors that were pointed out. Re-connected it and now it works. My thanks goes out to the person responsible for the post!
