Yup. Rotors need to be smooth. Check rock auto. I just bought 4 Powerstop rotors and pads for front and rear for about 200 bucks. Way better price than oreilly's or other store.

Hey guys, I'm gonna shock you all...the rotors on my 2002 are the same rotors that were placed on it when they built it in 2002. Never turned, only pads replaced when needed. Ole Blue stops like she did when I bought her over 13 years ago.

Before you stone me, I'm getting ready to replace the rotors and pads in the coming months. I just feel like it's best to replace the rotors being they are 13 years old.

How many miles you got on your truck? I had 130k of decent use and towing before mine were replaced.

I got 177k. The rotors will just get replaced soon. They are to old to resurface.

Today I found out my 4x4 still doesn't work in March I replaced the vacuum lines, shift solenoids, and axle actuator cause they were all bad and I thought that fixed the issue but it still doesn't work. I was out doing some scouting of a new spot I want to hunt next week and I almost got Stuck twice. I'm honesty surprised I have got through all the stuff I have in the past few months without even trying to engage 4x4. So it's either my shift fork or the transfer case. I have a manual transfer case BTW. I'll trouble shot it Tuesday

Did you ever get the 4v running right? The last update that I saw on the other forum you were still having troubles with the head gasket. Get her on the dyno yet?

If you were asking about mine, it's 128k. Keep in mind, they've never been turned either. I just replace the pads when they start to get low and keep on rolling. The truck has never towed or hauled anything, so I'm sure realistically they're still okay. I just want to install some slotted rotors to be honest lol

It's running and driving now. Has a problem reading coolant temp levels but that's no big deal really since I know it isn't overheating. No dyno runs anytime soon. Trans has almost 300k miles and rear seal is leaking. Gonna be a while to fix her up right since I just bought a house.

The guys on my other forum wanted an exhaust video so here it is
    https://youtu.be/NVyAy11Eomc
Sorry about the music overpowering the exhaust in some parts I didn't realize how loud the radio was at the time. The windows where down in this video too. For some reason the exhaust has a banging or nocking noise in this video but you don't here that in person
