Looks better. I think it really, needs a lift to set it apart.

I've always been a bigger fan of red with a touch of chrome but red and black can look good too.

Bdons-SD, I ran this brand for the majority of the time I owned my F150. My F150 and the 250 are not my DDs but I liked them enough from my time with them on the 150 to buy again. And $319 shipped to my door, all 4 corners rotors and pads, can't beat it! Also sink played so they won't rust and look like ****.

AK_Cowboy, the receiver hitch I have is like the one in this photo. I drilled a hole on the square tube on the outside edges past the metal mounting plates. That small part of the square tub on the outside of each side of the hitch is where I drilled. I will get better photos for ya. Not with the truck at the moment. But drilled 2 holes, you can then mount one on either side. Wired into factory reverse lights.

Red dot is where I drilled. Just through the one wall of the tubing. Then a bolt and nut to hold the light, nut to the inside of the tubing

MyFX4Project, I really didn't like buying a red truck, but knew I could make it look good.

What I don't want is to be a typical black and red truck. I got some ideas to set it apart that are small but those are what make the big differences.

I plan to do at least a 2" front, 1.5" rear ( level it and up 1.5" at minimum. But also considering the 3.5" procomp like the photo of that truck above. But that will come with time and tires

Iowaredneck.... With time.... And money. Lol

    Thanks Roush PSD Interceptor

Next big ticket item will be a Smitty built 1200 winch.

Hate a bumper with a winch mount and nothing in it. Lol

These SDs are way different when it comes to brakes, or maybe it's just mine since it's loaded with 1000 pounds of junk all day. I picked up some powerstop rotors thinking exactly the way you are "they have good reviews and they're only $xxx.xx" I can't remember how much they were but they were a far cry from the $600.00+ I spent on ebc all around. The trucks are so heavy that those cheap rotors don't last like they do on the smaller trucks. Within 5000 miles my rotors were shot. Not sayin that'll happen with yours, I hope it doesn't.

For less than $400 I hope they work out! I've been running plain old oem rotors for about 15k miles and they seem to be holding up but i don't know how much longer, I'd like to find a decent brand of brakes that doesn't cost a mortgage payment ha ha. I may give them a shot of they work out for you. The ebcs lasted a good 40k, on a 1 ton that hauls 10,000+ pounds half the week that's not bad but they're expensive as shat.

I don't pull a ton of weight but every so often... So not sure how the brakes will do with that.

I lost way too much money in my last truck to drop 3+G on a lift.

And I think the 4.5" makes 35" tall tires look too small and don't want to have to do 37s and gears
