Hey guys so my brush guard came in over xmas its just sitting in my garage i was wondering if any of you have installed one before there is no direcions but i think i have to take out the factory front hooks does n e one know where i could find out how to get this thing on
post up some photos of the brackets and guard, then we can probably figure it out. i mounted mine in the tow hook spots, i doubt it would go on any other way, but just in case
i know my bull bar was self explanatory just remove tow hooks and mount directly in the same place. i am not sure about a brush guard tho
Hmm k i will have to remove it from its box tomorrow and take pics lol ive been sick so honestly i walk past it eveyday and dont look at it
Pony... if you look on your frame rails, towards the front of the truck, you will see on the underside 2 holes pre-drilled into the frame. This is where your tow hooks are mounted. These are the locations where your mounting bolts for the guard are going to go once the hooks are removed. Now, this kit may have a bracket that drops inside the frame and into these holes, or it may be the entire guard goes in and the bolts just lock it all down. I'm sure once you open up the box, you'll see its pretty simple and is nothing more than a quick 2 person job. Hope ya start feelin better!

no prob. im pretty sure the unit slides into the frame rail, then bolts slide into the 2 holes and its sinched down like that. Atleast thats how most of the ones are for 04-08.
