Hi I have a 04 f150 with a 8ft bed. It has a 6" suspension lift with 18" dick cepek rims. Right now I have 33's on it. But that's just because I just got the lift kit on. And had 33's on it prior. I have bushwhacked fender flares on it. The tires and rims are flush with the fender flares. However I like the look of trucks when the tires stick out a bit. What are you guys' opinions on putting spacers on trucks? My truck is more for looks than play. But play is never out of the question.

The best way to achieve a wider stance is a wider wheel with more negative offset. I ran spacers for a little bit but I still don't trust them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
From what I've read either way you're changing the offset which changes where the load is put on the wheel itself. The farther out you go, the more "leverage" there is resulting in more wear on bearings. How much extra wear per negative offset I have no idea. Will you have problems at -12 mm or -24mm? Probably not. -5" probably ha ha. I've read guys run 2" spacers no problem, other guys run a 1" and will never do it again. Dylan's right though, the best way to do it is a get a wider wheel with more negative offset. Avoid the hardware in between. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Omg!! That's defianelty not a good situation or outcome. That makes me very discouraged in that idea! I appreciate your comments and experiences.
