Remote start is in the truck...too bad it doesn't work.

This has been the install from hell! Lol

Started the install around 11, already had the system pre-wired before I started. Got about and hour into it and got 3 phone calls on allys jeep, she got a new escape, guy ended up coming over to buy the jeep shortly after talking, had to wash the damn thing first before anyone cane to look at it. At this point it's already like 2pm.

Got back at it while still getting interrupted to help with this new dog we got, its not final yet, ended up cutting the positive and ground wires off of the bypass while trying to prevent tangled wires. Messed around for an hour with that trying to figure out why I had no power. Then got pulled away to grocery shop...then cook dinner. 8pm by now...fixed power and ground.

Now this stupid bypass won't program!!! First time using this type, ordering a Pktx.

Was hoping to have this done this afternoon .

Sometimes when you're frustrated walking away helps but the interruptions drove me nuts when I was installing especially when I was on a roll.

You'll get it figured out bud.

I ended up ordering an xk05 bypass for the system instead. Screw this Dball. I even had a buddy who owns a shop that installs remote starts try to lend a hand, he wasn't familiar with it either. I knew I should have ordered a Pktx or xk05 to start lol

Ah well, part will be here Wednesday so I'll be able to get it running. I also ordered a dorman seat heater kit, always wanted heated seats.

Also looking for some steps to replace the big chrome ones I have. Any suggestions?

Plenty of room in the door channel for wires.
