04-08 best programmer?? I have the 4.6 and I'm wondering he which is the best to purchase. I'm wanting one that will mount on my dash or the side trim running down the door frame. I have a 6" lift 4.88 gears 4x4 and 37's. Would love to hear from a lot of people's experiences and opinions. Thanks

I hear getting a programmer gryphon is the best. Is that true? And if so, where do I do that at and how much does that cost? Thanks

Yes I have searched those. I'm thinking edge and have bill upgrade it to gryphon. Do you know if he sells and of them that are already upgraded? Was trying to get past the month waiting from sending it in to him. Or is there a way to get ahold of him? Thanks

I always hear good things about gryphon with custom tune. Take a look at the SCT and Edge products also. They are known to improve performance especially if you have done some aftermarket parts upgrades.

I had an Edge, then converted to a Gryphon, and now have an SCT Livewire TS. The SCT has been trouble free and looks much more modern. You can still get custom tunes for them and they are supported by more vendors.

The only thing that I miss from the Edge/Gryphon is the Average MPG/Instant MPG function. I added an Ecometer with a split OBD-II Cord to make up for it.

yeah that is the thing I like about the edge/gryphon is the Average MPG, it says I am getting 16-17 now so that's a good thing.
