    Probably the motor, strange that both switches would go out at the same time.

    Well taking them apart and cleaning them didn't fix it. So now I get to spend $200 on new switches for both driver side and passenger side

    So I spent $200 on switches and it wasn't even the problem. Damn wires broke in the boot between the door and firewall

    Temporary fix for now. Just stripped the wire on both ends and connected it back with a wire connector and taped both ends. It works but it is temporary

    Ya could go with a heat shrink butt connector then it would be waterproof inside the door boot.
    Just a suggestion.
