My sister set her explorer aside and bought a brand new lesbaru legacy. Not as sporty as the Impreza but still a pretty solid commuter. I told her she should have gotten a cross trek.

Chuck Norris went bear hunting, forgot his rifle, and brought one home anyway.

Lesbaru hahaha. Thats great. She looked at the Crosstrek, said it didn't have enough room in the back...too expensive too. I went looking and discovered the Impreza wagons, sent her some picutres and she fell in love right away. Tons of room in the back with the seats down, and they were "cheap" even for a fairly loaded model. Nice car for sure...not even close to something I would own though.

Hard to beat a Subaru in terms of reliability and build quality, but yeah they can tend to be on the boring side.

Here's the legacy. Kind of plain and boring, my sister said the crosstrek felt weird, something about the headroom felt claustrophobic and she just uncomfortable in it. Her legacy was just a couple thousand less than the crosstrek, to each their own I suppose. It's a boring car imo but a commuter is a commuter. [IMG]

Not a bad looking car though. Great commuter I'm sure.

My sister actually has a loaner Crosstrek today while the dealer applies a clear bra to hers. She just texted me that she hates it.

Can't expect an exciting car from Subaru unless you get an STI haha. There's a reason 99.5% of Subaru drivers drive 5-15 mph under the speed limit at all times. They're probably asleep at the wheel.

I mean it has that I-work-in-a-cubicle-and-hate-my-life-so-I-bought-a-car-that's-an-appliance vibe.
