Jeep is finally running and out of my garage! Got the 96 back.

While I'm waiting to start on the 96 engine rebuild, got some stuff for the 2010.

Got rid of the chrome door handles and went with the all black. I have a new tailgate handle coming tomorrow with a built in backup camera in it, pretty pumped about that.

Busted my driver side mirror a few weeks ago, was able to salvage the mirror cap without busting the tabs on it. Plan on painting the caps to match the truck, just need a passenger side mirror that's busted up.

Let us know how the tailgate handle is. Got dad an aftermarket back up camera for his '14 for bday. May get him this handle for a 'late' xmas gift to pair with it.

The handle has the camera built into it, just gotta plug it into my screen.

I will post up pictures of it though so everyone can see the quality

I went with Yada wireless backup camera from Costo $ 79.99 5 inch monitor.

Mounted cam above license plate, gives great view for hooking trailers
    With night vision too.

This camera will plug right into my radio which is pretty cool.

Just remembered, gotta wire it to switch to the camera when I select reverse, that might be important.

Got the handle/camera installed. just need to wire it, I'll get some pictures for y'all later.

    Got it in!

    Picture quality is pretty good.

Only complaints about the kit is that the RCA wire wasnt long enough to connect to my radio, had to buy an adapter and another 6' of cable. The camera also doesn't have an alignment mark which I thought would be helpful since it's removable. Had to run back and forth trying to get it aimed right. Just a couple small flaws.

Couple pictures, color on the screen/camera is great, camera also has distance markers on it, tested it out on a trash can. Red zone is maybe 6" from my bumper.

The picture makes the camera quality look a little blurry, I'll try to get a better picture in the morning.

Also threw in a picture of my new handles, better than the chrome. Just basic textured black Dorman handles, the tailgate handle is also textured black.

    Looking great Chris.

    Did you add a hinge
    lock to the tailgare?

    De-blinged of the chrome
is better looking on your color.

Looks way better with no chrome for sure.

I've got one of them fancy hinge locks that require a special socket to remove. All it is, is an expensive hose clamp wrapped in black plastic.

I want to get the remote lock for the tailgate handle, that's another $80. Don't really feel like wiring that up though.
