My ABS dash light came on the other day and won't go off. I was driving up our long driveway covered in water and slush from spring breakup. I'm slowly narrowing down the issue, since the only downside is ABS won't engage while the light is on. Brake fluid is full and the ABS module looks good. I pulled all three sensors (rear axle, both front wheels) and all the connectors are clean and sensors look good as well. Next plan is to check the fuses in the kick panel.
Went through fuses (#104 and #112) and both look good. Also checked the ABS module under the hood and didn't see anything out of place. I'm now going to try and get the code read by a shop. Since it's not a normal Pxxx engine code, my Livewire won't read it...
No other problems. A shop pulled the code that pointed to the wheel hub. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
That's what I'm going to try and do today, pull codes. They were able to pull the code from the ABS light on the dash?
Got the code read. Turns out it is the Rear Axle sensor. But since I have a Sterling 10.25 rear end, the normal F150 sensor won't work. They wanted $80 for the correct sensor vs $20 for the F150 one. Told them they could keep it and I would order one online lol
