I'm looking at doing a 351 in the mustang. I've been doing A LOT of reading on a mild build, a lot of things to consider. But if you're just dropping a running 351 in, it's a pretty simple swap. Especially truck to truck, truck motor to mustang has a little more to it, mostly on the intake. What year is the motor you're looking at? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The 351 Cleveland Better than Ford made it. http://www.titusperformance.com/Performance-Engine-Block-Engine-Crankshafts.html Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
I think he's talking 351 Windsor, just because it's almost a drop in swap. No drivetrain swapping, bolts right to the trans. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sorry guys disappeared for a while lol. Not sure on the year of the 351w. I have actually gone back to a 302 build. I have a buddy with 2 blocks laying around at his shop. I think he's giving me one for free. One block is from the mid 60s, would I still be able to use this block? The other is an 80s but it's currently on a stand and complete. The 60s is only the block.
Whisper "Cleveland" That 60's block maybe better cast iron, if that 80's is an '88 steer clear of it. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
I'm not sure what exact year the '80s block is but If the '68 block will work, I'm taking it. I figured it would be the same but thought I would ask around first.
