I really need to do that on my truck... Did you wire-wheel it at all, or just paint over everything?

I sprayed everything down with full strength simple green, scrubbed with a scrub brush and a wire brush and then rinsed everything off. The frame had hardly any flaking rust on it, that's what you want to remove.

Thanks brotha! Got the bed finished before work today. Take a look at how nice the bed looked before I painted it, no rust at all.

Got the body mounts in from Amazon today, might start that tomorrow.

That's the plan. I think I may attempt to spray the bottom of the cab, painting is going to get super messy either globs of paint dipping on me.

Decided to pull the engine haha. Should give me time to clean the engine bay up while I wait to build the new engine. The block is in storage at the machine shop.

    For those still around...

    Pic bomb!

Been gone a while...fixing some sheet and building some sheet.

    My '96 is coming along.

Complete frame was degreased and POR15'd with 4 coats, 2 base and 2 top. Did bed as well, not sure what I'm doing with the bottom of the cab. All new body mount bushings as well

Gutted the cab, carpet stunk and headliner was trash...new headliner in, just waiting to order carpet.

EDIT: JUST REALIZED I ALREADY POSTED THESE BACK IN OCTOBER.
