Unorthodox 4wd dash switch...

    I mean it could be as simple as disassembly of your old switch
    to find the burnt out light and replacement with a compatible replacement ?

    the one I ordered only had 2H/4H/4L... said '09.I have seen the one you're referring to and am trying to avoid that one. Online offerings being what they are, I'm hoping I get what they're selling. Figuring if I can get the diagram for the existing, I can meter the corresponding on the new.

    I can hear that and haven't completely ruled it out. Found this for $20 and a used one for $44. If the old switch opens up safely, I might consider shorting it and using the dash lights below the gauges.

    More than likely it's an incandescent tiny bulb,
    but putting an led replacement in there is also a possibility.

    Like 1,200 ohm 1/4 watt resistor to take voltage down to 3 volts
    for the led lamp.
