A couple guys asked about how to do the Bambi Mod (Fogs & Highs on at the same time) and I tried to help with my lame pics. Here is someone who did a much better job.

so i put mirimoto h13 2stroke 2.0 LEDs in my headlights yesterday and they work great high and low BUT...if i have the low beams on and i turn the fogs on, it automatically flips the high beams on. Nuts. im gonna try this mod later on at work and see if it will help. i called mirimoto and they have never had that happen before

i like how this post is 9 years old haha

Lol, we've been here a while.

I've heard of people having issues with LED headlights and the fogs. There isn't enough resistance in the LEDs and that's what causes the high beam issue. Usually you can see the hi-beam light in the dash glowing slightly.

Shoot I'm almost positive i had that happen with my '97 years ago. Having a really hard time remembering. My '97 is Bambi modded using a relay that uses the highs as a trigger to kick the fogs back on and i wanna say that relay was allowing current to flow backwards through it when the fogs were turned on and it would power up the highs.

    Diode isolate it.
Diode is a "one way valve" for electricity.
