My 02 blows fuses for the windshield wipers. I've replaced the turn signal switch and the fuse. But now it's not working at all. And it's not blowing fuses either. I put the original turn signal back in and still nothing. I've also replaced the relays. I've also switched out the relay with another in a different location and it still doesn't work.
Sorry brother. Took a break. Check the connection to the wiper motor for non-connect or corrosion. If that checks ok and it's clean... Sounds like the motor. Do you have a ohm meter to test for a shorted motor winding ? Put the meter across the power and ground of the unplugged motor connection. Check for continuity from power wire to ground wire. Resistance will be low on the ohms or dead short.
I also forgot to mention that window washer doesn't spray either. But the brights on the turn signal switch still works, as well as the blinkers.
What's the condition of wiper fuse socket? Clean contacts / no corrosion ? Also check wipers relays Says 1997-98 But same location on 2002. R1 R2 R3 Swap out another 'unused' relay for testing purposes. Use the horn relay R5. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
