That looks fantastic, but I would highly recommend building one that is available for the Ecoboost motors, even though that's an engine choice only available on the newer generation F-150. That has to be the nicest, cleanest set up I have seen for a winch mount. Congratulations on another fantastic product for our trucks!
Hi, I have 2015 F150 and wanting to get recommendations on what the best option for a winch install? I will be towing a 4,000lbs small sailboat on a trailer. The winch will be installed on the trailer to pull the sailboat. Do you think a I go for a 4,500lbs or 10,000lbs winch as seen on this sight?
@Archie27 Depends on application. Water to trailer, one won't need full pound rating capacity. The boat can practically be moved by one arm in the water. From a davit type dry storage to a trailer, more pulling power will be needed.
