I would like to add a circuit to my in cab fuse panel. I see empty fuse spots that only have one terminal inside. Does anyone know what the part number is for the insert that goes on the backside with a pig tail wire on it? Do they exist? I've used some at work on CAT equipment, are fuse panels universal on the back? Thanks in advance. Sent from my moto x4 using Tapatalk
@AgInternational Depends on the type on circuit those 'one sided' fuse slots are. Some are constant, primary or secondary ignition. Those back side fuse clips can be sourced for a 2015. Wont be cheap from a supplier E.g. retailer who is selling them specifically as F-150 fuse panel parts. Better off researching them as generic terminals. Hard to tell what FoMoCo used, I haven't been into those yet. They generally carried over many years previous parts though. Everything we did in Chassis Upfitting came through the firewall in a grommet from the underhood power distribution block and was fused there.
I have a '97 Vic sitting here for a fuel pump install. Haven't seen the fuse panel they are taking about to compare though.. Electrician can make most anything happen ..
Most of our 'accessories' runs were brought inside through a firewall hole, grommet and silicone sealed. Wire loomed and circuit breaker auto reset out side. Inside was a 4 position fuse block. 4 leads to whatever needed.
