The new models are serviceable via Pressing. I am not sure of 97-03 as I have never worked/owned that yr of truck.
nah mine requires full replacement. so dumb on fords part, i know the newer super dutys are the same way too
its actually not that dumb. like i stated, sometimes the bearings can prematurely wear long before the life of the hub has passed. By allowing serviceable hubs into production, Ford hoped to cut down on repair costs, which they have.
