EcoBoost is gonna be about 45K for a Fx4 that I'd be happy to drive for 8+ yrs. I can get an 09-10 diesel, w/ under 50K (which isnt even the break-in period for a diesel) for the same price. I figure as good as I have taken care of my 06 4.6L, 110K and still counting, all factory Drivetrain still, I can easily get a diesel to go 300k w/ no problems (i'm hoping).
In my original thread, I was talking about the 11 SD, but gas model. The EB has better towing capacity than the 6.2L Gas SD, but not the 6.4L or 6.7L Diesel. But the only mod is the 6.7 scorpion and a face lift. I can do w/out those minor details. actually, the gf had the power. its her car that needs replacing. after talkin, she would rather have my truck (its the truck she's always wanted, as far as mods) and she would only have an 18mo note. She also said that since we'd be ready around my bday, it only makes sense for me to get the new vehicle. Just gotta wait a few months to get some extra DP, along w/ Ford's Truck Month (who knows, I might get an 11 Diesel if the price is right).
