Hey Guys. Noobie to the forums here... WoOt I getting ready to purchase a 4" Rancho suspension lift used from a guy. I was not sure if it came with a sterring stabilizer or not ? My main question is... I have seen a few pics of trucks with two shock stabilizers under the front going outward ( one going tward the left when from center and one going from the right when in tward center ) I cant remember if it was pics of our body style trucks or another style F150. Regardless, I loved the cool look of the stabilizers going out from the center to each wheel and wondered who makes this kit if anyone? Thanks in advance. Mike
I don't think Anyone makes em for our "centerlink" style but they do for the 04-08 and for straight axle rigs, a setup could easily be fabbed up but more than one isn't really worth it for just 35" tires which I assume you'll be runnin?
The more Im researching this tire size, Im finding its closer to a 36x 15.50 Good info though as I am totally ignorant to the 97-03 suspension and steering stabilizers. I do all my own installations, like the body lift and will be putting the susp lift on so Im doing a ton of research in advance. Thanks man
I have a dual stabilizer made by skyjacker to tame a set of 39x15" tires... its a nice setup and I think it was $131.00 shipped! Not bad at all an an easy install... before that I was runnin a rough country single $58 shipped and that did the job for some heavy military 37x12.5"... trailmaster makes stabilizers for our trucks as well as fabtech, pro comp etc etc
A lot of people will say anything over a 35" tire you'll need a duel setup... and another handfull of people will say anything more than one shock to tame some tires and you're maskin a problem...
Gotcha, I will probably do the inexpensive rancho unit. Since I will be doing the rancho susp lift anyhow. Keep it all looking " together" Thanks man
