hi i got a 93 f150 and 86 bronco that will basically be the same for a lift, but i am just wondering what type of lifts do people have and how do they like them.

i was looking at a 4in suspension lift kit, but im not sure if i would like to get the one with the longer radius arm or just get a kit with just the radius arm drop bracket where i would use my stock radius arm.

i was on rough country they had a 4in where i use the stock radius arm brackets for $475, but by the time added the shock upgrade, shock boot cover, swaybar drop bracket, longer brake lines.the total came to about $650.

now if im going to pay that price i mise well get the loonger radius arms.

dude the stockers will be okay for that price, I think thats a good price for a lift, but for 30 bucks more you can get the 6inch kit

yeah thats what i thought. but i was told tuff country is a cheap brand and the one that is for $475 is ruough country. i was just thinking on just the 4in cause 6 would be high and make it so i cant fit under some stuff. i want to put the lift on my bronco first cause it is my mud truck. then when i get rid of it if i do i would swap the kit onto my f150. right now on my f150 i got f250 leafs in back and taller coil springs in the front. but right now the alignment is off so i need to get thos drop brackets and i also have 2in coil spring spacers that i bought to put on that really messed up the alignment so i took them off.
now if i decide to put the coil spring spacers back on the front with the alignment drop bracket, would i have to buy a radius arm drop down bracket and can i get taller blocks if i have to raise the back up? i also have a set of helper springs i can add to the leafs, so i dont know if that will raise the back up when i put the 2in spacers on the front.

only thing i've heard is that the ttb can be hard to realign after a lift and you have to add shims

i've decided not to lift mine for a while, until after school, but when i do i'm gonna do a dana 44 solid axle swap with a long arm kit, thats just me

i know what u mean mustangwarrior. on myh f150 i would do the straight axel swap. i wouldnt mind the 6in but with it going up that hight wouldnt it affect the center of gravity alot? the thing is i dont want to go to high. well i got a friend who is going to put a 6in lift on his 82 truck and i will see how his looks and i will make my decision. the bronco i just bought in november for $450.

it does not make sense to spend the money on the 4" when you cud get the 6" for just $50 more
