    I posted a thread about it in the Lounge, so here she is!

    As she sits now, she wont start. My bro-in-law (city mechanic in Kodiak, Alaska) will be looking at the truck and figuring out what is wrong with her. I'm getting the truck for free, so having to fix her a bit doesnt bother me at all! My mother-in-law said the tires are band new, body is nearly flawless, 4x4, and stick shift.

    I'm very excited to be getting the Explorer!

    im hoping the "not starting" problem is something small like the battery, shot alternator, or starter... but even if there is a larger issue, fixing it will still be well worth it!

    im still wondering if it is a stick shift myself... my mom-in-law said it was, but she also doesnt know much about cars... so ill just take her word for it
