its all gonna equal the same length whether you get extended or drop brackets, or it wouldn't work with the kit lol
i know ive had rangers with that front end and the drop bracket for the radius arms sucked hung down real far and rode like shit compared to the full raduis arms
I got the 4" with just the drop brackets and it rides and works great to me. Cant really say much as far as offroadin though cause I didnt get my locker till after the wreck and it aint street legal yet cause the turn signal. (i wasnt gonna try muddin in a 2wd with open dif)
