I added 3 more leafs from a set of f150 springs to level off the front after i cranked the torsion bars a little over half, but does it look to tall for the tires now?
35's. . . scoops are just those glue on ones,I bought the truck with them on .I don't want to take them off cuz I don't know what they were applied with,Id hate to take off some paint
I prolly won't buy another set of tires anytime soon just put the lift and tires on a couple weeks ago. . . rubbers arn't cheap!
Most likely 3m thats wat most are applied with and I kinda like them do u not? And dude how did ya.do the extra leaf thing cause that looks good.
gotta do what ya gotta do he gave me full leaves to use to do it. . . sagged with a trailer on so it had to be done
so you added stock leaf springs from another f150 leaf pack? never heard of anyone doing that. how does it ride and how much lift did you get out of the 3 leafs?
I put 2 extra leafs in each side so I could max the keys up front... Make sure your shackles and hangers are in good shape to handle the extra resistance... about 30 miles after I put the leafs in a shackle let go, but I knew it was on it's way out anyway. It was shaling off and gettin thin... Ford revised the shackles and they're coated now! well duh, they shoulda done that in the first place Haha
