Other forums.. little to no response, plus like you guys better then the other stuck up forums. but as been mentioned before, i would like to run 35's and a BL on the 4x4. For tires, im pretty set on the red lettered General Grabbers. But bfg at's are still an option. right now, my main concern is this: 33's - can put them on now, run with pretty much no issues. 35's - probably need a BL to clear easier, but have heard BL's are a pain in the arse to install, not sure i want to go this route, and a suspension lift right now isnt gonna happen. im leaning at 33's, on a 16" ATX Artillerys (black) with -12 offset. As i tihnk this combo would look great. Unless theres a way i can stuff 35's in a stock truck. my t-bars are turned (about leveled), but i dont think maxed yet. sorry for the long winded post, just tryin to get this done right before i start dropping money everywhere, as im in a tight budget. the most height i can get isnt an issue, just a good look is all im after. Well this may help...I ran 35's on my white 03 FX4 super crew with ONLY the T bars maxxed out and a small trim on the fender flare at the very bottom. But 33's will look ok with a Body lift but the 35's would look better. Now if your not going to lift in the future go with a 33"
Take into consideration mpgs too. One reason I went with 33s on my '07 instead of 35s. I get bad enough mileage as it is.
My view is that if your worried about mileage, don't put bigger tires on.... I'm not planning on lifting my truck till its not my primary mode of transportation.
Yeah but if you want meaner, bigger off road tires, 2" means a lot. 33's may be 1.5" more than stock, but 35's are 3.5" bigger. I noticed may mileage change when I put the 33s on, I can only imagine bigger tires. Nothing wrong with wanting bigger tires and keeping mileage in consideration. I've got a 2000 mile round trip road trip coming up in 3 weeks...curious to see what I get on the highway since nearly all of my driving is small town roads. I've also decided to get an Evo before the trip which hopefully will help.
