Well now that duck seasons over I finally got time to fix my truck friday. Took off the big bumper and put the stock one back on so I could get to to the headlight easier. Went to the junkyard and got a blinker for $5, took a hammer to where the old blinker spot was bent down and put in the new (to me) 1. heres the only pics Ive got of it before I fixed it: Its raining now but if it stops in a little bit Ill get the pics of what it looks like now. Overall only spent bout $200 getting it fixed when I was quoted for ALOT more.
Oh and I forgot to say the "blinker" in those pics is just duct tape and blinker tape.... the inspection lady didnt like that too much haha. Thats why I aint been drivin it here lately.
A toyota suv clipped me goin 60... I was turnin left and they ran the red light. well its still cloudy but it stopped rainin so heres some pics:
Yeah it was messed up pretty bad... on the police report it had the worst possible rating of damage for them. And ya the bumper doesnt look all that great but for $100 it saved my a$$ in that wreck. My truck probably wouldve been totaled to but instead I walked away only spendin $200 to fix it thanks to it.
Yeah I know what you mean. For sure would've been alot more damage without it. I was just sayin it looked better.
