Alright guys.. i spent about an hour at the salvage yard today and compared the Screw mirrors to the normal mirrors.. fat chance of that crap workin out. If your up for a good project then i know how to do it but each person will have to do this, i can't whip em and ship em. The normal mirrors will fit up to the door BUT they are WAY WAY WAY smaller than the screw ones. In order to make this work you would first have to spend the money on a set of tow mirrors then drill out the holes for the mounting spot, easy no problem right? Wrong.. you would then have to bondo in the remaining area up to flush with the rest of the cab and mirror base. Not too hard if you know how to bondo but yeah its no easy mod. Unless ***THINKING OUT LOUD HERE*** you could cut the plastic needed off the screw mirrors and melt them together, then sand it down smooth and re-paint it... damn! back to the junkyard tomorrow rofl
didnt we have a discusion bout this..well the different mirror part from screws and everyone else...hell id be down to work with it...
