    It's all in the gearing brother...I had a 22r (4 banger) Toyota with 39.5's with 4:88's and it was BA....oh and rickys truck has 4:29 gears :chewie:

    wow, only running 4.30 gears with 40's? i would say atleast 4.88's or even 5.13's to turn those big tires!

    i guess final drive ratio is different with the SD than with a f150?

    22R's are an exception. Those motors were beast from the get go. :waytogo:

    Yes and he said it will roast the tires...it's no sloutch....it's got a bunch of other mods. I think it's stupid that people think a Super duty HAS to have a fuggin diesel in it to be tough :facepalm:

    Not this one...it was wore out and smoked like a freight train....it would barely pull itself before we re geared it :laughing1:

    but if they actually use it as a tow rig, it would be a wise choice to have the 7.3 hahah

    It must have had some miles on it. Those 22R's were incredible engines. My mom use to let me drive her 1987 Yota Sport truck and it would fuggin fly man! :peace:

    I'm not saying diesels are not BA ....but my 5.4 stock pulls my 32 ft camper great....so there again your wrong home slice :birgits_tiredcoffee
