    i also try and do this and i run 6 quarts of motocraft 5w20 and top it off with lucus additive.

    I changed my wife's Altima's oil every 12k. It's running full synthetic and running a Bosch high mileage filter. The last time I changed it the oil still looked new after 12k miles of stop and go Atlanta rush hour traffic. She drives 100 miles a day to and from work so I had to go to a 10k oil change. The shit was killing me at every 3k and 5k.
