I'm doing lots of mods to my truck since I haven't been driving it and have come up on the infamous e-fan mod.
I have 2 fans from a late 90s tauraus, and know about how to mount them and needing a relay and all that. Just wondering if I need a new belt or not. Who here has done this?

This isn't about if e-fans work or its a good idea or any of that, just a simple install thread. If you don't like it, gtfo :basketball:

Here are the fans I gots:

i think you just remove the fan clutch from the crank shaft pulley,if im correct you have to use a special tool to do this

Ah, that makes sense. Cool deal. I'm picking up my new trans Friday, so maybe I can do the fans Saturday.

I got to caught up with my lights and mirrors this week. I'm taking her to the shop Monday to get the trans in, so maybe next week... I don't have the money for the relay right now and want to do it right the first time
