So I had this 33' tape measure that would get bound up around the 10' mark. it had sat out in the rain countless times. I went ahead and pulled it all out, then I sprayed a coating of this on it. I also sprayed some right at the opening of the case. Then i worked it back in and let it sit for a few days. Went to try it out yesterday and I swear its a brand new tape measure, just has the surface rust on it. This stuff ROCKS!
Had to take the shift lever, or what was left of it off my Honda sportsman and it was covered in 2 years of mud and rust. I tried to remove the bolt without the fluid film and it wouldn't budge. I applied the fluid film, let it set for a min and the bolt came right out and the remaining part of the shift lever came off the shaft with no issues. I also applied fluid film to the new lever and the shaft so it would slide on. Great stuff. Gotta get afew cans! Sent from my iPhone4 using Tapatalk.
My tailgate has squeaked from the rubber stops rubbing against the paint since the day that I brought it home from the dealership. Their fix was to keep shooting lithium grease on the bumpers. That would work for a week or so before it eventually rubbed through to bare paint again. It also kept building up and had to constantly be wiped off. I sprayed them with fluid film 3+ weeks ago and have not heard a squeak since.
Great stuff. I sprayed a few different things around the house with the sample about a month ago. One of which is the door slides on my metal building. They were hangin up but now the slide like butter even a month later. I also shot my heim joints on my offroad rig but can say much beside I lubed em lol. I will be ordering some more of this when the lil can is gone. Great stuff, thanks for the sample.
