for #1 let me put it this way. i had a 1.5 daystar, and 285/75/16 (33x11.5) on mine for 6 months and thats all i said i wanted but look how long that lasted. its a curse honestly. if your just going to run stock wheels might do a 1.5 spacer or 2" coils and 285/75/16. the 2.5" spacers need different UCA's to fix the ball joint angles and issues. you might consider doing 3.5" spindles/small block or aal and 305/70/16 (33x12.50). it will cost a little more than the spacer but if you find some different wheels maybe 8" wide youll love the look.
I have those leveling spacers for 2 years and never had any problems, and referred them to other guys who all have had good look. One guy said his compressed, but he also treated the truck like a rag doll. As long as you put everything back together correct they're good to go.
^X2, i didn't notice those were 2.5" spacers, i have the 1.5" set. and yea man, i'd do a 3.5" spindle lift and aal in the back if i could go back. Plenty of lift to make it look worth doing, and not so much that you feel goofy for lifting a 2wd
yea anthing over 2" is gonna give you problems unless you do new UCA's which im going to be adding and then doing a 2" on my current lift setup
after having coil spacers on two trucks and having both of them settle between 3/4-1" I wouldn't recommend them. I'd go for some lift springs. They're more expensive but you'll save money in the long run by not having to buy both like I'm going to have to do. 2" lift coils will level the truck out nicely and might even let you use stock shocks. You can run a 285/75/16 easily and will look nice. AGjake has it right. Its addicting. You always think you'll be satisfied with a certain amount of lift but you never are after a while. I have pics of trucks at stock height with 25/75/16, same tire with a coil spacer, and my current truck with a spindle lift, coil spacers, 3" block in the rear and 33x12s
