When i first crank my truck (mainly wen the engine is cold and hasnt been runnin) it makes a funny squeal/tick. Its in the past fender well/front of motor area ....... when u rev it up it gets louder ...... wat could it be? its gettin annoyin ..... doesnt do it when its warm HELP!
Trust me... You crank it up with a cold motor, loud tick/rattle sound/ starts getting quiet when truck starts warming up, dont hear it when motor is hot even after restarts.... Post a video.
Its hard to tell from the video. It kinda sounds like an exhaust leak. It could be a loose spark plug also. Mine was ticking until it blew the plug out the head. If its not either of those, then Im gonna say timing chain. How many miles are on it?
186k its cummin front the front of the motor ...... almost sounds like its cummin from the thang on the bottom on the passenger side the belt goes around , idk wat it is.....
