    No, that definitely makes sense. And sounds like it look terrible. Ha ha. Maybe I'll have to think about painting the wood grain black (or silver even) and then do some costs with this stuff. You've got me thinking now. Lol.

    You would have to paint it silver. This stuff is a translucent black (like jello) with a clear coat to go over it. The only way to get the chrome effect is to have chrome underneath it.

    get some chrome vinyl and overlay it. then you could possible use this dark chrome stuff on it.


    and i got 1 step on! all i gotta say is.... T|TS!!!! Now this just might be me, but i swear it reminds me of RoboCops armor. Enjoy, i got to install the passenger side. as a reference, the 3rd pic has my craftsman wrench to show chrome vs dark chrome kit.
