Replaced the stub axle circlip while it was out.
Had a hard time getting the seal to seat even putting Red and Tacky
in the bore with no room to...
The seal removal is next.
Thing was a PITA to get out due to dissimilar metallosis and
corrosion from this vehicle being in service in PA from...
Once the axle stub shaft has unseated the splines you can rotate the wheel
bearing assembly downward to pull the stub shaft from the backside out....
Now the axle stub shaft can be pushed from the wheel bearing.
Go slowly to not damage wheel bearing.
Used a rag on the CV boot to prevent damage....
