try putting the blend door back in and opening half way, yu might be able to close off the cannister enough to make some heat
if those are off it could be sucking in cold air but not that much
is the blend door back in right now?
that little black box gets heated up by the heater core and then the heat comes from there,

do you have the top of the black canister back on all the way? causse if it is not sealed the heater core is useless
