you can check studs with out tearing into anything. check and see if its got the updated oil drain.. thats not something most would do.

Spent about 2hrs at the shop this morning and tore into it more. Got both valve covers off the intake manifold off and the Hpop and injectors out....

Not all cummins are cr and not all cr motors are cummins. 6.4 and newer psd's are common rail.

pop the hood and look at the passenger side valve cover and look for one of these [img] if it doesnt look like that its got stock bolts
