If you left the sub wiring like it was when you bridged the amp last night, it put a 2 ohm load on the amp.
Yup. Rabs are 6 1/2' and the screw in that picture is 5 1/2'

If you bridged the amp and the subs, you may have changed the impedance enough to have popped your amp. You can go by these as a wiring...

It all depends on the model of the sub and the design of the box. Some of them take a lot more cf than others.
I thought about that too but these were some rather expensive sounds in the front end. Ones that I wouldn't have gotten my money back out of when...
